Hiking & Birdwatching


Get your hiking boots ready and hike from the beach up to Mount Kwitutu to enjoy the scenery of Victoria Lake and the untouched nature of Mfangano Island providing a home for more than 350 bird species.

Visit the famous rock art made by Twa hunter-gatherers at Mawango Cave and Kwitone which are estimated to be up to 4000 years old.
